2006 - The Reunion.

Maine music history was made in Portland on Sunday, July 9, 2006 as the original
members of Love, Inc. reunited for the first time in over 35 years for a private,
invitation only performance for family and friends at the former DV8 Club.

This was a spur-of-the-moment performance suggested by Bill, who came home
to visit family, and was the first truly public performance by all four original
band members since February 1971.

Songs performed included many from the early days by The Beatles, Rolling Stones,
Cream, Wilson Pickett, Blues Project, and other popular groups of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Boys also performed three of their original songs, including their most successful
single, "She Don't Care About Me", which reached #10 on the Maine music charts in
the summer of 1969. This song had not been performed in public since November 1969.

Other originals performed included "Loving You", written by Billy and Mark, the B Side
of our second single "Jennifer" released in September 1970, and Mark's very first
song ever written for Love, Inc., "Leave Me Alone in the Morning", in July 1968.

Amazingly, the three part harmony which was recorded beautifully on their CD was
almost note-perfect. "Like riding a bicycle" Marc said, proving you CAN go home again!
A truly amazing performance considering we had no rehearsals! It was like just picking
up from where we left off.

Joining them was their lifelong friend and fellow musician Peter Albert,
who was a member of the "Rain/Get Back" band.

A Press Release about the Reunion was issued.

After the one-off they started writing new songs and actually began recording them.
It was decided to change the name to BOTHN (Brothers Of The Holy Note)
to update the original name to something a bit more modern.

Mike started building Swell Studios and Marc continued recording his Coral Sunset CD.
Both projects are pretty much complete, and Marc has done some work on his CD at Swell.
Whether or not the boys pick up and continue recording remains to be seen.
